Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team by demonstrating expert mixology skills and maintaining high standards of service.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Train and mentor junior bartenders and staff on drink preparation, customer service techniques, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the food industry trends, beverage offerings, and alcohol laws to ensure responsible serving practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender with fine dining or nightclub background preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with retail math and basic math skills required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving laws.
• Experience with brewing or hospitality industry operations is advantageous.
