Lead Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team by providing clear guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality service
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Manage all aspects of bar inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
• Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Ensure timely serving of drinks during busy hours while maintaining excellent customer service and engagement
• Collaborate with kitchen staff on food pairing recommendations and coordinate catering or banquet beverage services when needed
• Monitor the bar area for cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance in accordance with health regulations
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems while maintaining accuracy in retail math and cash handling procedures

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender with fine dining or nightclub background; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of cPOS systems such as Clover, cashiering and food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions, retail math, and tip distribution accurately
• Experience in brewing or the food industry is advantageous for understanding beverage nuances
• Leadership qualities to motivate team members while maintaining a positive work environment
• Familiarity with serving in nightclubs or retail settings is preferred
