Lead Bartender

Position Overview

Mezcal is looking for a driven, experienced bartender to step into a Head Bartender role. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a future Bar Manager position.

The Head Bartender works closely with the Bar Manager to lead the bar team, uphold standards, and help drive the overall success of the program. This is a leadership role that requires strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to think beyond day-to-day service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example behind the bar through professionalism, consistency, and work ethic
• Support and assist the Bar Manager in daily operations and service execution
• Help maintain and uphold all bar standards, systems, and expectations
• Train, mentor, and support bartenders and barbacks
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and product management
• Ensure quality control of cocktails, service, and guest experience
• Help identify areas of improvement and contribute to overall bar development
• Step into a leadership role during shifts and act as a point of accountability

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
