Lead Bartender

Join Drinq Linq The Bar on 22, part of the trusted Drinq Linq family—one of New Jersey’s premier destinations for craft beer, wine, and spirits. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Bartender to take ownership of the bar, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and help lead our team in a high-energy, hospitality-driven environment.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives behind the bar and takes pride in both service and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations during shifts, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine with consistency and attention to detail
• Maintain deep knowledge of spirits, craft beer, and cocktail recipes
• Provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere
• Train, mentor, and support bartenders and bar staff
• Oversee bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness at all times
• Manage inventory, restocking, and ordering coordination
• Ensure compliance with all NJ ABC laws, ID checks, and responsible alcohol service
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues as they arise
• Collaborate with management on menu development, specials, and promotions

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
