Job Summary
Lefkes Esiatorio Delray Beach, the second location of our flagship Greek restaurant in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, is a newer addition to the vibrant Delray dining scene just steps off the Ave and blocks from the beach.
We're seeking a Lead Bartender to complement our team and maintain elevated service standards.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience as a bartender in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exceptional service knowledge and ability, including adherence to proper steps of service, timing, and unparalleled hospitality that builds loyalty and repeat guests.
- Daily bar maintenance, adherence to recipes, cocktail creation, and exceptional drink making.
- Our goal is to provide THE best service in Palm Beach County, to match our exceptional cuisine and pure deliciousness and quality of our food!
- Commitment to food, beverage and wine knowledge.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, train, create cocktail recipes, oversee accountability with sidework and cleaning.
- Reports to work on-time according to weekly schedule.
- Must speak fluent English and provide all legal documentation to work in the U.S.
- Uphold company uniform, personal hygiene and cleanliness standards.

- Cooperative attitude in assisting managers and co-workers with tasks to keep the restaurant clean, organized and flowing seamlessly throughout daily dinner service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist with keeping the bar clean, re-setting promptly to ensure a clean and inviting environment for guests and increasing ticket averages.
- Support our operation by preparing, serving, and handling food items according to established procedures and health code standards.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to meet health regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with managers, team members and guests to deliver excellent customer service and address all needs and concerns.
Requirements

- A great, positive attitude and ability to keep smiling under pressure.
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in upscale or fine dining food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and identify most important priorities in a busy, bustling dining environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- A willingness to continuously learn and grow is essential!
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and serving, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
