Lead Bartender

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. As a key leader behind the bar, you will assist in inventory management and ordering, mentor team members, and ensure exceptional customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties

• Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
• Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cleanliness standards
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and responsible beverage service protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere
• Train new staff on drink recipes, and customer interaction techniques
• Monitor upsell opportunities, and promote retail math strategies to maximize revenue
• Maintain accurate cash handling records and perform cashiering duties as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff on food service coordination during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender with fine dining or nightclub experience preferred
• Prior Knowledge of POS systems including Square POS, Trackman, and Woosh, ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell drinks and promote specials effectively
• Comprehensive understanding of responsible alcohol service laws
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with serving at large events or in retail environments beneficial
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele in a lively environment
