Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our bar service and create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Lead the bar team by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth service delivery
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Maintain a welcoming environment by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Oversee cash handling procedures using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accuracy
- Enforce food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for seamless coordination during food and beverage service in fine dining or banquet settings
- Monitor sales performance, upsell products effectively, and contribute to achieving revenue goals
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times in accordance with safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of beverage recipes and mixology techniques
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a lively environment like nightclubs or banquet events
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and inventory management (retail math)
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry
