Portal Lounge, a next-generation airport lounge by Gameway, is hiring a full-time Lead Bartender to oversee bar operations, inventory, and administrative duties at its new MSP location. This role supports bartenders on shift and ensures consistency, efficiency, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work bartending shifts while serving as the on-shift leader for bar operations
• Ensure consistent execution of drink recipes, presentation standards, and service quality
• Oversee bar setup, cleanliness, organization, and readiness for service
• Manage bar inventory awareness, restocking, and ordering coordination
• Support onboarding, training, and best practices for bartending staff
• Serve as the first point of support for bartenders during shifts
• Escalate guest issues, service recovery needs, or comp requests to management as appropriate
• Communicate operational needs, inventory issues, and improvement opportunities to management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of bartending experience in a high-volume or craft-focused environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience supporting or guiding other bartenders
• Strong understanding of cocktail execution, bar organization, and service standards
• Ability to balance guest service with operational and administrative responsibilities
• Able to complete the alcohol training awareness certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience assisting with inventory, ordering, or bar setup standards
• Previous lead bartender, senior bartender, or key-holder experience

Compensation and Work Schedule:

• Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Part-time and full-time opportunities available. Open availability required, including weekends and holidays, due to airport operations
