Lead Bartender - Tiki Cove

Duties

  • Lead and motivate the bartending team to deliver outstanding service with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
  • Oversee inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, licensing regulations, and health & safety protocols
  • Train new staff on beverage preparation, POS usage, customer service techniques, and responsible serving practices
  • Manage night club activities or banquet events when applicable, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup
  • Utilize strong time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bar operations during shifts
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all cocktails
  • Train and mentor bartenders
  • Manage bar inventory and prep
  • Engage guests and create a lively bar atmosphere

Ideal Candidate:

  • Advanced mixology knowledge
  • Leadership experience behind the bar
  • High-volume bar experience preferred
  • Creative, organized, and guest-focused

Experience

  • Proven experience as a bartender in high-volume settings such as nightclubs, fine dining restaurants, or banquet halls
  • Extensive knowledge of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety standards
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or lead roles in food service or hospitality environments
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
  • Experience with catering events or retail math for inventory management is a plus
  • Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and food safety practices
