Lead Bartender/Barista

Bartender/Barista Job Description:

We are searching for a passionate and professional Bartender/Barista to join The Artisan's Palate.

The position will be responsible for bartending and barista shifts (we are a bar that serves coffee, so the job will be both) with occasional server shifts. They must have proper menu/cocktail knowledge, keep up with daily specials, serving tables and completing necessary side work. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the food service industry, knowledge of craft cocktails and is committed to impressing our guests and offering them the best experience possible while looking to grow with our organization.

Bartender/Barista/Server Job Duties:

· Greeting all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and developing a rapport with our customers
· Providing superior services and promoting a friendly, comfortable environment by providing fast and friendly service

· Being a team player and working well with others
· Ability to communicate with the kitchen during service

· Knowing proper information about specials & accurately informing customers

· Complying with sanitation regulations and safety standards

· Knowing the food and beverage menu well - as well as other specialty products we use

· Accurately ringing sales orders into POS system

· Answering telephone calls in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders

· Responding proactively to prevent customer service situations

· Participating in all sales and promotions effectively and efficiently

Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Experience in Food & Beverage industry

· Exceptional listening and communication skills

· Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods

· Ability to regularly lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds

· Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays

· Punctuality and good attendance

· A polite, engaging personality

· Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence to include consistency with food delivery and drinks

· A willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment

· Basic safety and understanding of ServSafe regulations in food preparation

· Action oriented and organized
