Lead Business Analyst (Commercial Products)

Job Purpose:

Support the development and enhancement of commercial digital products by analyzing business needs, translating them into clear and actionable system requirements, and ensuring delivered solutions align with revenue objectives, operational processes, and customer value propositions


Key Responsibilities:

› Elicit and document business requirements for commercial products and services by engaging commercial, finance, and operations stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of functional needs

› Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria by structuring requirements within Azure DevOps to support effective solution development

› Create and maintain business process flows, use cases, and system interaction diagrams by mapping current and future-state workflows to support solution design and gap identification

› Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed commercial offerings by evaluating process, system, and integration requirements to inform solution scope and feasibility

› Collaborate with technical teams to refine functional and non-functional requirements by clarifying dependencies, integration points, and payment workflows to ensure accurate implementation

› Define test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that delivered features meet documented business requirements and commercial rules

› Document payment processing, membership configurations, and pricing logic requirements by working with finance and technical teams to ensure accurate transaction flows and system configurations

› Maintain requirement traceability and documentation integrity by ensuring proper version control, backlog alignment, and knowledge repository updates within Azure DevOps

› Analyze post-release performance data and stakeholder feedback by identifying requirement gaps and recommending refinements to improve commercial functionality and user outcomes


Job Requirements:

› Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline

› This role typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis within digital product, commercial systems, or revenue-generating environments

› Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is advantageous

› Experience documenting requirements for payment processing, pricing logic, membership systems, or ancillary commercial services

› Experience working within Agile or Sprint delivery environments e.g., DevOps

› Experience supporting UAT and working with cross-functional technical teams Stakeholder Interactions
