OVERVIEW OF ROLE
We're seeking an exceptional Lead Campaign Designer to lead the visual direction for the Bass Coast 2027 campaign. Bass Coast is recognized globally for its forward-thinking visual identity that pushes creative boundaries. Our design aesthetic is intelligent, ahead of trends, and distinctly recognizable.
This project position begins March 2026 and all deliverables are due April 30 2026. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the 2027 visual identity of one of North America's most forward-thinking festivals.
The ideal designer should have extensive knowledge of electronic music culture & the rich history of design that has evolved with the scene over time.

Celebrating its 18th year, Bass Coast is an independent, artist-owned festival shaped by a shared love of cutting edge electronic music, large scale art installations, and an expressive and open hearted community. Founded and led by Liz Thomson & Andrea Graham, Bass Coast has grown into one of North America’s most respected festivals for forward thinking curation, unique stages environments, innovative approach to harm reduction, and attention to detail.
Recognized for its creative integrity and community spirit, Bass Coast has been awarded DJ Mag’s Best Boutique Festival in North America for two consecutive years and named Best Midsize Festival in Canada by the Canadian Live Music Industry Awards. Set against the stunning landscape of the shared traditional territories of the Nłeʔkepmx and Syilx Nations in British Columbia, it continues to be celebrated on a global stage.

Project-Based Flat Fee: $5,000.00 CAD
WHAT WE OFFER
Bass Coast offers an innovative, flexible and creative work environment.
All Bass Coast team members work remotely and are required to have their own computer, printer, file storage and workspace (whether at home or elsewhere). The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and work remotely with team members.
