Lead Carpenter / Working Superintendent

The Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Lead Carpenter / Site Superintendent to own day-to-day site operations: coordinating subs, keeping jobs clean and on schedule, communicating with homeowners, and self-performing targeted tasks (demo, drywall, trim, punch).

What You’ll Do

• Open/close job sites, coordinate subs, verify layouts/rough-ins, track progress.
• Self-perform small scopes: selective demo, protection, blocking, drywall patches/hanging/level-4 finishing, trim/hardware, basic installs, site cleanup.
• Handle materials: takeoffs, order pickups, receive deliveries, protect finishes.
• Communicate with clients (daily text/photo recap) and escalate issues early.
• Maintain safety (PPE, dust control, containment) and a spotless jobsite.
• Document daily logs/photos, manage punch lists, and support smooth closeouts.

You Are

• A skilled carpenter who takes pride in finish quality and jobsite cleanliness.
• A clear, courteous communicator (text/photos/phone) who earns client trust.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable directing subs to a standard.
• Able to read plans, measure twice, and catch conflicts before they cost time.

Basics We Need

• 5+ years in residential remodeling or carpentry with some lead/foreman experience.
• Valid driver’s license; clean record; reliable transportation (or comfortable driving a company truck).
• Smartphone proficiency (JobTread/Buildertrend/CoConstruct or similar).
• Lift/carry 50+ lbs; work on ladders; manage dust and protection correctly.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.; dependable attendance.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Cabinet/door install, light tile, paint touch-ups.
• OSHA-10/30 or Lead-Safe RRP.

Schedule & Area

• Full-time, Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays by exception.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
