Jacks Deli & Restaurant has proudly served our community for 45 years, and with new ownership as of January 2026, we are entering a bold and exciting new era. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and driven Lead Chef to help bring Jacks back to what it once was — and take it even further.

As our Lead Chef, you will:

• Lead all kitchen operations and set the culinary standard
• Redesign and elevate the menu with creativity and innovation
• Dramatically improve food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Source quality ingredients and manage food costs
• Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety
• Collaborate closely with ownership to shape the future of Jacks

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Creative vision with a passion for revitalizing menus
• Commitment to high-quality food and consistent execution
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and cost-control skills
• Food safety certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
