Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for all site, foundation, and structural design aspects of hyperscale and AI-factory data centers. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with deep experience in civil site development, foundation systems, structural steel, and seismic design. The engineer will provide stamped drawing sets, ensure compliance with regional building codes, and coordinate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure the structural integrity of all power and cooling equipment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and stamp site civil plans (grading, drainage, utilities) and structural drawings (steel, concrete, supports).

Ensure that equipment foundations, structural supports, and seismic bracing comply with all applicable codes.

Coordinate with local AHJs, municipalities, and permitting authorities.

Provide structural load analysis for equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, generators, and switchgear.

Mentor junior civil/structural engineers and review their designs.

Oversee coordination with architects for building envelope design.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with structural stamping authority.

10+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure design.

Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Strong knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and seismic standards.
