Lead Cleaning Technician

Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple locations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor team performance to maintain optimal productivity
• Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and equipment; reorder as necessary
• Implement best practices for commercial cleaning, hotel housekeeping, and hospitality environments
• Address staff concerns, provide feedback, and foster a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial services, or janitorial work with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning protocols
• Supervising or management experience in a cleaning or hospitality setting
• Knowledge of laundry operations and hotel housekeeping management is highly desirable
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments
• Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
