Lead, Clinical - Arden NC

QualDerm Partners is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead, Clinical to join our Arden, NC location. As a vital member of our team, you will lead the clinical staff in providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as EMA ModMed superuser and primary resource for troubleshooting and training.
  • Lead and mentor medical assistants with on-the-job training and performance feedback.
  • Manage patient flow efficiently by coordinating staff assignments and addressing any bottlenecks.
  • Order, organize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Assist with resolving patient issues related to registration, billing, and clinical coding.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen standards, and HIPAA privacy regulations.
  • Support providers during clinical procedures, including preparation, assisting with numbing, and specimen handling.
  • Maintain treatment rooms in a clean, organized, and fully stocked state.
  • Schedule procedures, manage prescription refills, and facilitate communications between providers, patients, and pharmacies.
  • Perform weekly safety checks such as eye wash stations and equipment sterilization.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Office Manager on operational improvements and team performance.
  • Any other duties as assigned to ensure successful clinical operations.



Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
  • 2-3 years of recent clinical experience, preferably in dermatology or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, EMR systems (especially EMA ModMed), and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
