Lead Commercial Landscape and Irrigation Estimator

Responsibilities

• The responsibilities of our Lead Estimator include, but not limited to, the following:
• Manage the bid process for our commercial projects, from bid invitation to bid results
• Manage the overall bid schedule
• Lead the weekly estimating meeting with associate estimators and staff
• Foster relationships with our existing clients
• Management and development of associate estimators
• Review and approval of bids prior to submission
• Foster relationships with our vendors
• Develop relationships with new clients and vendors
• Manage estimating software
• Perform takeoffs and construct proposals on large commercial projects

Experience

• The right individual must have extensive knowledge of both landscape and irrigation systems and processes, be well organized, be able to efficiently manage associate estimators, exhibit excellent communication skills, and be able to work within tight timeframes. The following is a minimum list of experience required to efficiently perform in this position:
• (10) years in the landscape and irrigation industry
• (5) years managing direct reports
• Extensive knowledge in commercial irrigation systems, including 2-wire systems
• Extensive knowledge of all landscape construction processes
• Extensive knowledge of landscape materials
• An irrigation license is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
