About the Role


We are seeking a visionary and decisive Lead Construction Director to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Lead Construction Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring their successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for multiple large-scale construction projects
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project issues
  • Collaborate with senior management to align construction goals with overall organizational objectives
  • Implement innovative construction methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and government officials
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any deviations from the plan promptly


What do we need from you


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successful large-scale projects
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices
  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and local building standards
  • Expertise in project management software and CAD applications
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and financial planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
  • Fluency in English
