Lead Conversion Specialist / Appointment Setter

Overview

The Lead Conversion Specialist is responsible for engaging inbound and outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. This role plays a critical part in the sales funnel by turning initial interest into confirmed meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to new leads via phone, email, text, or chat
  • Qualify leads by understanding needs, timeline, and fit
  • Communicate value propositions clearly to prospects
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems
  • Follow up consistently with leads who have not yet booked
  • Handle objections and provide basic information to move leads forward
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly appointment-setting targets
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve conversion rates

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or call center roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Persuasive and confident phone presence
  • Ability to handle objections and rejection professionally
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Acculynx, JobTread)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in lead generation or appointment setting

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
