Lead Deck Installer / Crew Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Deck Builder / Fence Builder to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, transforming outdoor spaces with expertly crafted decks, fences, and other structures. Duties

• Construct, install, and repair decks, fences, and other outdoor structures using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Measure accurately and cut materials such as wood, composite, vinyl, or metal to specifications.
• Perform framing carpentry tasks including setting posts, framing structures, and ensuring structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean and safe construction site by adhering to safety protocols and managing heavy lifting tasks efficiently.
• Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape installations to complement deck and fence projects.
• Assemble components on-site with attention to detail while ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the build process to meet high standards of craftsmanship.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or carpentry roles with a focus on framing, deck building, or fencing is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to work effectively in outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance or hardscape installation is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
• Strong understanding of blueprints or technical drawings related to carpentry or landscape projects.
