Lead Dental Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical leadership role within the clinic, working closely with both providers and management to ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.

Our ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of clinical dental assisting experience, along with a proven history of leadership and consistent employment within a dental office over the past 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic flow and operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Ensure patients are seen and processed in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain clear and effective communication between doctors and assistants
• Support team coordination so all staff know where they need to be throughout the day
• Provide patient education and confidently present treatment plans
• Discuss financial options and financing solutions with patients
• Act as a right-hand partner to management, supporting leadership initiatives
• Help maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of dental assisting experience required
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a dental setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with treatment planning and patient education
• Comfortable discussing financials and payment options
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
