Lead Designer — Tilghman Builders

Tilghman Builders is a family-owned company specializing in high-end, large-scale home renovations. We’re seeking a Lead Designer with 5+ years of residential design experience to join our growing team!

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of both design and construction. You’ll collaborate with clients and our in-house team to create inspired, functional spaces that reflect each homeowner’s vision — all while upholding our values of Honesty, Accountability, and Kindness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design projects from concept through completion
• Develop plans, selections, and presentations that align with client goals and budgets
• Collaborate with project managers and carpenters for smooth design-to-build transitions
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and team members

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or interior design experience
• Proficiency in Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Excellent eye for detail and organization

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience ($60,000–$90,000).
