Lead Developer / Head of Engineering

Build the Platform Behind the Next Global Business Formation Company

GenZone is building a global SaaS platform for company formation and business infrastructure, starting with US LLC registration for non-US entrepreneurs worldwide.

Our goal is to create a platform comparable to companies like Doola, ZenBusiness, and Bizee — but designed for international founders, automation, and scale.

The platform will allow entrepreneurs to:

Register a US company

Obtain EINs

Open banking/payment accounts

Manage compliance

Purchase add-on services such as virtual addresses, website creation, credit building, and more.

We are looking for a Lead Developer / Head of Engineering to architect and build this platform from the ground up and lead the engineering team as the company scales globally.

This role will work directly with the founders and own the entire technical architecture of the platform.

Role Overview

As Lead Developer, you will:

Architect and build GenZone’s core SaaS platform

Lead development of web and mobile applications

Manage and mentor the engineering team

Translate business requirements into scalable software

Own system design, infrastructure, and deployment

This is a hands-on leadership role — you will both write code and lead the engineering function.

What You Will Build

You will lead the development of a platform that includes:

* Automated company formation workflows

* Customer onboarding and KYC systems

* Document generation and management

* Client dashboards and portals

* Payment and subscription management

* CRM integrations

* Internal operations tools

* Service upsell marketplace (virtual address, websites, credit services, etc.)

The system will support thousands of global entrepreneurs and must be built with scalability, security, and automation in mind.

Key Responsibilities

* Architect and build GenZone’s web and mobile applications

* Define and maintain platform architecture and infrastructure

* Lead development of mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web applications

* Manage sprint planning, engineering workflow, and delivery timelines

* Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards

* Ensure security, performance, and scalability

* Integrate third-party services (payments, KYC, banking APIs, CRM, document storage)

* Design internal tools for operations and automation

* Manage deployment, CI/CD, and production releases

* Hire and mentor developers as the engineering team grows

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years professional software development experience

* Experience as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineer

* Proven track record shipping production SaaS products

* Experience building both web and mobile platforms

Strong experience with modern stacks such as:

Frontend

* React

* Next.js

* Vue

* Mobile

* React Native or Flutter

* Backend

* Node.js

* Python

* Laravel (or similar)

Infrastructure & Systems

* REST APIs and third-party integrations

* Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

* Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

* CI/CD pipelines and production deployments

You must also have:

* Strong understanding of scalable architecture

* Clean code practices and system design

* Experience managing developers and engineering workflows

Nice to Have

* Experience with fintech or payments infrastructure

* Experience building SaaS platforms

* Startup or scale-up experience

* Knowledge of KYC, compliance, or document workflow systems

* Experience integrating banking or financial APIs

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
