Lead Developer (Web & Mobile)

Role Overview

As Lead Developer, you will:

• Architect and build GenZone’s web and mobile applications
• Manage and mentor an existing development team
• Own technical decisions, system design, and scalability
• Work directly with founders and operations to translate business needs into production-ready software

This is a hands-on leadership role — you will code, review code, and lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of mobile apps (iOS & Android) and web applications
• Define and maintain the technical architecture
• Manage sprint planning, code reviews, and delivery timelines
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership teams
• Hire, manage, and upskill developers as the team grows
• Integrate third-party services (payments, KYC, CRM, document storage, APIs)
• Own deployment, CI/CD, and production releases

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years professional software development experience
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer / Tech Lead / Senior Engineer
• Strong experience building both web and mobile apps
• Proficiency in modern stacks such as:
• React / Next.js / Vue
• React Native / Flutter
• Node.js / Python / Laravel (or similar backend)
• Experience with:
• REST APIs & system integrations
• Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, and clean architecture
• Experience managing developers and shipping real products

Nice to Have

• Experience with fintech, proptech, or CRM systems
• Startup or scale-up experience
• Knowledge of KYC, document workflows, or compliance systems
