Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead DevOps Engineer to maximize software delivery
efficiency and consistency. You’d be serving a critical role as the amplifier for an engineering team's abilities.
Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring

scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: build, maintain, and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid

and reliable software deployments.

• Automation & Tooling: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and

application deployments.

• Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting

systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized applications using

Kubernetes and AWS ECS.

• Security Implementation: Integrate security best practices into all aspects of the infrastructure

and deployment pipelines.

• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve

performance, and ensure smooth software releases.

• Legacy System Migration Support: Provide technical expertise and support for the migration

from our legacy PHP application to a Node/MySQL stack
Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills:

* Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, EKS, IAM).
* Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (GitLab).
* Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, JS).
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (DataDog, Grafana, ELK stack).
* Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks (e.g. express) a plus.

• Soft Skills:

* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to mentor and lead technical discussions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
