Lead Dog Walker & Pet Care Professional

Norton, MA (10-mile service radius)
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are looking for a reliable, experienced animal professional to step into a Lead Dog Walker & Pet Care Professional role with our growing pet sitting and dog walking company.

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking someone with proven animal experience, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to long-term growth within a professional pet care team.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform daily dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting
• Drive to client homes and local trails safely and efficiently
• Monitor pets for signs of illness or distress
• Follow detailed care instructions for each household
• Maintain cleanliness (waste removal, food/water refresh, etc.)
• Ensure home security during every visit
• Assist with meet & greets and trial run visits
• Support light training and guidance of team members
• Work holidays and help cover shifts as needed

Requirements (All Required):

• Previous professional animal experience
• 18+ and live local to Norton, MA
• Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check
• Smartphone for scheduling app usage
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Physically active and able to walk multiple miles daily
• Able to commit to a consistent Monday–Friday 7am–3pm schedule

Equine experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
