At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $22.30 per hour/week.
Job Responsibilities
-
Record man hours for each job.
-
Scrape barn in accordance with SOP.
-
Maintain equipment according to maintenance plan.
-
Ensure ALL equipment is cleaned between jobs.
-
Follow ALL biosecurity procedures.
-
Report any damage to farm manager and support supervisor.
-
Ensure all people are wearing proper PPE at all times according to the Safety Absolutes!

Make sure that any problems are reported to supervisor in a timely manner.
-
Follow all harassment rules reporting any issues to supervisor immediately
Minimum Qualifications
-
Good work history
-
Must have a valid driver's license with good vehicle operating record
-
Must be in good physical condition (able to wear respiratory, eye protection, and any/all safety protection wear for extended periods of time). No restrictions against physical repetitive activities of bending, twisting, or lifting. No restrictions prohibiting work in a hot, dusty environment with ammonia present

Must have basic math ability to perform record keeping tasks

Must possess the ability to effectively manage and lead people
-
Able to work both inside and outside in varying degrees of temperature and humidity
-
While performing job duties be able to bend and twist continuously, work above ground on a scissor lift occasionally
-
Carry 10 – 60 pound containers of disinfectants occasionally
Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid class "A" CDL driver’s license
