Lead Early Childhood Educator - Closing Floater

Kiddie Academy of Columbine is hiring Certified Early Childhood Preschool Educators. Paid Holiday's start immediately. Paid time off for all employees + accrued sick time from Day 1.

We are looking for patient, flexible and nurturing individuals to join us as a closing float/resource teacher at our Academy in various classrooms. Kiddie Academy educators make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. You’ll use your caring attitude, creative nature and excellent communication and collaboration skills in the classroom. Among your responsibilities will be:

• Providing general classroom supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene and positive guidance for the children.
• Preparing and implementing activities for children that stress physical, social and emotional growth.
• Providing materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use in learning activities and active play.
• Experience and comfort with Infants preferred.

The ideal candidate must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position. Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility is a plus! Applicants must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management. Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high and pass a medical exam/physical. Must have a clear background check to qualify for employment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
