Lead Electrical Engineer

Faddan is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and technical execution of electrical projects. This role is responsible for developing electrical system designs, leading an engineering team, and ensuring project deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards. The position reports to the Project Director or Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for power, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Review project specifications and develop detailed electrical design documents, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Perform electrical system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and coordination analysis.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Review and approve technical submittals and equipment specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in electrical system design for power, industrial, or large commercial projects.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and engineering analysis tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, IEC, and other relevant electrical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead engineering teams.
• Willingness to visit project sites as needed.
