S.A.M (Seriously Addictive Mathematics) is a globally recognized enrichment franchise offering high-quality Math and English programs for children. Our mission is to help students build strong academic foundations, confidence, and a love for learning in a supportive environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate English Instructor to join our Newark center as a Lead Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Teach English enrichment classes focused on reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension
• Lead small group instruction for students ages 4–14
• Assess student skill levels and personalize instruction when needed
• Create an engaging and encouraging classroom environment
• Track student progress and communicate with parents professionally
• Support curriculum planning and classroom organization
• Mentor/support assistant instructors as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching/tutoring English, Reading, Writing, or ELA
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for working with children and helping them grow
• Patient, energetic, and dependable
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education, English, or related field)
• Prior tutoring center / after-school program experience is a plus

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
