Lead Epoxy Flooring Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Epoxy Flooring Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, mixing, application, and finishing of epoxy flooring systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete surfaces by grinding, shot blasting, or acid etching.
• Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to coating.
• Mix and apply epoxy, urethane, and other resin-based coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
• Operate power tools, grinders, and mixers safely and efficiently.
• Apply color flakes, metallic pigments, or quartz broadcast systems as required.
• Ensure even coating and smooth finishes through troweling, rolling, or squeegeeing techniques.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with epoxy flooring, painting, or construction work (training provided for the right candidate).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating systems is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industrial coating systems.
• Familiarity with moisture testing and vapor barrier applications.
• Customer service or client communication experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
