Lead Epoxy Installation Technician

Fastlane Coatings is a fun and professional small business that has a great opportunity for an experienced full-time Lead Installer position that wants to grow with us! This is an on-site position working Monday - Friday starting at 7:00 AM daily with some overtime and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Prep and install concrete coatings according to the company's procedures, specifications and plans.
• Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, delivering daily Thank You Bag and Thank You Card on site.
• Upsell any walk-up customers and be knowledgeable about Fastlane’s services. Understand how to secure information needed to provide to Office for sending estimates.
• Properly handle company equipment and machinery such as: Box trucks, hand grinders, swing machine, generator, standup grinders, hand tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area including warehouse, truck and all equipment.
• Demonstrate competency and confidence in all trades necessary to complete a job from start to finish.
• Provides site leadership, assist with assigning Technicians to daily construction activities, and monitor daily performance and completion of tasks.
• Transport materials to and from job sites, as required.
• Maintain the job site to ensure minimal impact on the client’s living situation.
• Resolve job site issues or escalates them to the General Manager for resolution.
• Act in a site supervisor role when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Provide direct and constructive feedback to Technicians regarding quality and timeliness of coating-related activities and projects.
• Provide crew performance and critical material feedback to the General Manager.
• Daily inventory of truck equipment, materials, sundries and jobsite needs, per Company specifications.
• Daily Before and After (B&A) photos of the jobsite to be sent to Group Chat and full set uploaded to Company Cam.
• Daily electronic completion of Materials Used Spreadsheet (MUS) before clocking out for the day.

Qualifications / Skills

• Ability to arrive at various job sites (customer residences throughout Las Vegas/Henderson area) for a 7:00 AM start time
• Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.

• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Experience with: Painting, grinding, polishing, coating, sealing, surface preparation, and repairs are a plus.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Reliable personal vehicle required
• Valid driver’s license required

Experience Requirements:

• Previous painting experience
• Previous construction experience
• Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of resin flooring experience
• Strong math and communication skills
• Knowledge of floor coatings preferred, but not required.

Schedule/Compensation:

• Full Time, Monday – Friday 7:00 AM –3:00 PM with some overtime including Saturdays
• PTO
• $24-$27 per hour DOE
