Lead Fabrication and Assembly Technician (3 YRS EXP REQ)

Burke Truck & Equipment is hiring an experienced Lead Metal Fabricator to oversee shop fabrication and lead production of components for municipal snow removal trucks.

This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside a skilled team in a modern fabrication shop.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily fabrication workflow
• Layout, fit-up, tacking, and finish welding (MIG/GMAW)
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Oversee snow plow assembly and custom components
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• Train and mentor fabrication team members
• Operate CNC Press Brake and CNC Plasma Cutter

Qualifications:

• 3+ years metal fabrication experience
• Strong MIG welding skills
• Leadership experience preferred
• Ability to read fabrication drawings

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25+ per hour, based on experience
• Overtime available
• Flexible hours (6:00am–4:30pm, up to 50 hrs/week)
