Lead Facilities Technician
Location: Bethel, CT
Payrate: $26 / hour
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | On-site
Ability Beyond is seeking a Lead Facilities Technician to help maintain safe, reliable, and well-functioning facilities across our organization. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with field leadership, supporting preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational improvements across agency properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance including painting, sheetrock repair, and minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Support and oversee preventative maintenance activities across facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues and urgent work orders
- Conduct inspections of equipment, tools, vehicles, and generators
- Provide technical guidance and support to Facilities Technicians
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of facilities or maintenance experience
- Trade school certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
