Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Façade Designer to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the façade design process for high-rise and large-scale construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in aluminum, glass, curtain wall, and cladding systems, along with the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure high-quality façade solutions that are both functional and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the façade design team on high-rise and complex façade projects.
• Develop detailed façade drawings, 3D models, and BIM coordination models.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project managers.
• Ensure façade designs comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, safety standards, and sustainability requirements (LEED/BREEAM).
• Select suitable materials, finishes, aluminum profiles, and glass systems for each project.
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing and installation.
• Review façade mock-ups and prototypes before mass production and installation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior façade designers.
• Coordinate with production and site teams to resolve design and installation challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Façade Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in aluminum and façade design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and BIM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, stick systems, and cladding materials.
• Understanding of structural performance, thermal performance, and acoustic properties of façades.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Experience working on high-rise or large commercial projects in the UAE is an advantage.

Preferred

• Experience with Dubai Municipality / Civil Defense façade compliance.
• Knowledge of sustainability standards such as LEED or BREEAM.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
