Lead Fintech Integrator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Fintech Integrator to design and lead integrations with payment gateways, banking systems, and financial service providers. This role is responsible for building secure, scalable, and compliant fintech integrations that power seamless financial transactions. You will work closely with engineering, product, compliance, and external partners to ensure reliable and efficient financial connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of fintech and payment integrations
• Integrate with payment gateways, digital wallets, banking APIs, and financial platforms
• Ensure secure transaction processing in compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to define requirements
• Design and maintain APIs and middleware for financial integrations
• Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, deployment)
• Monitor transaction flows and troubleshoot integration issues
• Ensure PCI-DSS compliance, data security, and fraud prevention measures
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of payment systems
• Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and financial institutions
• Document integration processes, APIs, and system architecture
• Mentor engineers and enforce best practices in fintech development
• Stay updated on fintech regulations, trends, and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 6–10+ years of experience in software development or system integration
• Proven experience in fintech or payment system integrations
• Strong understanding of payment processing, settlement, and reconciliation flows
• Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP) and web services
• Familiarity with payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, PayPal) and banking APIs
• Knowledge of security standards (PCI-DSS, encryption, tokenization)
• Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Java, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of financial messaging standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Pay: RO2,500.000 per month
