About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HCM Lead Functional Consultant to join our team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the consulting, design, and implementation of Human Capital Management Systems for OSOS's global clients. You will architect HCM solutions tailored to complex business needs, oversee multiple implementation projects, and mentor junior consultants. The Lead Functional Consultant will ensure the successful delivery of HCM programs, drive best practices, and act as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with leadership, product teams, and clients to maximize the value derived from their HCM investments.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end HCM project delivery (on time, on budget, in scope).
  • Architect & configure core HCM modules to meet business goals.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on HR strategy & transformation.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of consultants.
  • Establish project methodologies & best practices.
  • Lead key project phases (design, data migration, integration, change management).
  • Ensure system performance, compliance, and resolve critical issues.
  • Drive system optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for clients and teams.
  • Support presales, executive presentations, and strategic deals.

Skill Requirements

Domain Knowledge

  • Expertise in end-to-end HCM processes, HR best practices, and global compliance.
  • Mastery in configuring and architecting solutions across all HCM modules (Payroll, Time, Talent, Recruitment, etc.).
  • Proven ability to design complex data models, manage large-scale migrations, and build intricate integrations (ERP, third-party).
  • Deep knowledge of HCM deployment models (SaaS, Cloud, On-Prem), security, and performance optimization.
  • Skilled in HR analytics, metrics, and reporting to deliver strategic insights.


AI Awareness Responsibilities:


  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI technologies and their impact on enterprise applications.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and support processes using AI-driven tools.
  • Use AI tools to optimize the role activities and tasks to meet the business target relevant to AI adoption, process optimization, results improvement, time saving, and efficiency.
  • Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in line-of-business systems and policies.
  • Participate in AI-related training, workshops, and capability development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI insights into problem-solving and system optimization.


Soft Skill

  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical prowess to solve complex business problems with HCM technology.
  • Expertise in business process re-engineering, advanced process modeling (BPMN), and change management methodologies.
  • Proven track record in managing project risks, issues, and scope for large-scale implementations.
  • Strong client relationship management and consulting skills.

Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HCM system implementation, consulting, or solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience leading 5+ full end-to-end HCM implementation lifecycles for enterprise-level systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday).
  • Proven experience in managing project teams and resources.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with integrated Talent Management suites and advanced payroll configurations.
  • Experience in presales and solution design for major deals.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Business Analysis Certification (CBAP) is a plus.
  • Certification in Human Capital Management, Talent Management, or HR analytics is a plus (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday HCM).
  • Payroll module certification in ERP systems (e.g., SAP HCM Payroll, Oracle HCM) is a plus.
  • Understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards is advantageous.
