Lead Gas Safe Engineer/Plumber

Role Description

This is full-time employed leading role, for a Gas Safe qualified Lead Heating & Plumbing Engineer, located in Gloucestershire.

The successful applicant must be competent in all aspects of heating & plumbing installations. The role involves managing jobs, raising quotations, so must be able to work on own initiative,. They will also liaise with clients to arrange potential and ongoing works in all aspects of plumbing and heating installations, repairing and maintaining a variety of heating and plumbing systems. The Heating & Plumbing Lead Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing faults, and carrying out planned preventive maintenance. They will also liaise with customers to advise on energy efficiency and safety measures.

Qualifications

• A recognised vocational qualification; Gas Safe & NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating
• Good working knowledge of all heating & plumbing systems.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing boiler faults and other heating system issues
• Experience in dealing with domestic customers, and providing excellent customer service
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to customers
• A full UK driving licence
