We are looking for rockstar hospitality focused team member to join the Lana as our lead welcomer. Lana is an upscale neighborhood restaurant with coastal comfort cuisine. The design direction is vintage, seaside, luxury. We are open for dinner service Tuesday through Sunday and will begin brunch service soon. We are looking for an individual that truly understands hospitality and takes joy in the art of making others feel special. The first experience at Lana is critical to our success. We need a person who can manage our front desk with warmth, grace, and an extremely high level of hospitality. You are the first and last person the guest sees when they visit, you must have the ability to make every person feel like they are a VIP even at the highest peaks of business traffic.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a warm and welcoming presence—guests should feel like they belong.
  • Create a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Know the menu inside and out—be knowledgable when guests ask questions.
  • Balance efficiency with genuine hospitality—fast service should never feel rushed!
  • Adapt and stay flexible—whether you’re helping another team member or handling a curveball request, teamwork makes the restaurant run.
  • Handle interactions with warmth and authenticity so guests can leave happy and stress-free.
  • Always be guest obsessed
  • Any other task assigned by ownership/management or as needed to contribute to overall team success.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2 years of upscale full service restaurant experience.
  • Natural communicator—able to connect with guests and work seamlessly with coworkers.
  • Poised under pressure—gracefully handling a busy service while keeping a smile.
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to help wherever needed—no task is too big or small in a great team.
  • Humility and empathy.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Certifications: Food Handler Card. (Training made available to you directly through the company if you do not have)

Pay Range:

  • Hourly based on experience, plus tips

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
