Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction trades and demonstrate leadership abilities on job sites. As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while mentoring junior staff.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
- Perform various construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, and concrete finishing.
- Conduct inspections of work completed by team members to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor junior installers in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate estimates for materials and labor required for projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of construction estimating and inspection processes.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam software for project documentation and collaboration is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with various construction trades including carpentry, roofing, plastering, caulking, concrete forming, glass installation, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, tile laying, restoration, welding, and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and the ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
