Job Overview
Titan Heating & AC is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Installer to lead residential and light commercial installation projects throughout the Seattle area. This role is ideal for an experienced installer who takes pride in clean workmanship, strong leadership, and delivering high quality customer experiences. You will lead install crews, oversee project execution, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to code.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, ductless mini splits, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, load calculations, and HVAC design plans to complete accurate installations
- Supervise and mentor installers and apprentices in the field while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Ensure all installations comply with local mechanical, electrical, and building codes
- Coordinate with office staff, project managers, suppliers, and homeowners to ensure smooth project execution
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and startup procedures on HVAC systems
- Install and modify ductwork, refrigerant piping, gas piping, condensate systems, and ventilation components
- Oversee electrical connections related to HVAC systems and work closely with electrical subcontractors when needed
- Conduct final quality inspections and ensure systems are operating at peak performance
- Maintain a clean and professional jobsite environment
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of system operation and recommendations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, refrigeration systems, ductwork fabrication, and airflow balancing
- Familiarity with welding, brazing, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters and ohmmeters preferred
- Knowledge of local Washington mechanical and electrical code requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
Required Licensing
- Must possess a valid Washington State 06A Electrical License
- EPA Certification required
- Additional HVAC certifications are a plus
