About the Role

We’re looking for a polished and welcoming Lead Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role plays a key part in creating a warm first impression while managing reservations and seating to support smooth service flow. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dining room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional welcomes to all guests upon arrival
• Lead the host stand and be a point of reference for the door team
• Manage reservations, seating charts, and waitlists using OpenTable
• Maintain an organized seating flow that supports service timing and table turns
• Communicate with management and the service team regarding table availability and guest needs
• Assist guests with reservation inquiries, wait times, and special requests
• Keep the host stand and entrance area organized, clean, and presentable
• Update guest notes and reservations in OpenTable to support personalized service
• Help ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for every guest

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Experience with OpenTable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stay calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Compensation

• Starting rate at $22/hour, depending on experience
• Daily staff meal
• 50% discount on food and beverage
