Shiv Supper Club is currently looking for a Lead Host/Hostess join our team!

We're searching for candidates who can:

  • Trains host/hostesses, ensuring they meet the establishment’s standards for guest service and professionalism. Serve as a leader and resource for the host/hostess staff.
  • Oversee the reservation system, ensuring bookings are accurate and well-organized. During peak times, handle waitlists, provide realistic wait time estimates, and keep guests updated.
  • Warmly welcomes guests, manages the seating process, and assigns tables efficiently to maintain smooth service flow while accommodating guest preferences when possible.
  • Collaborate with servers to confirm table availability and relay special requests or large party details, helping to streamline table turnover and reduce wait times.
  • Responds to guest questions, resolves complaints, and manages special requests, such as seating preferences or accessibility needs, to ensure a positive experience. May escalate complex issues to management as needed.
  • Keep the host stand and waiting area clean, organized, and inviting, ensuring menus are up-to-date and any promotional materials are current.
  • May assist with tasks like managing guest feedback or coordinating with Event Managers for special events.
