The Lead HR Operations Specialist executes various HR Operations processes and procedures for the company while providing unmatched customer service to our employees and managers. The incumbent will supply operational support, primarily focused on data integrity within Unified’ s Human Resources Information System, UKG (UltiPro). The Lead HR Operations Specialist will review and approve changes to employee records in UKG Pro, with an emphasis on transactions entered UKG Pro Manager Self Service. The incumbent will work closely with HR Operations Manager to streamline internal operations processes and be the subject matter expert in UKG transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves changes to employee records in HRIS system.
  • Assist HR Coordinators with care center issues that may have been escalated or more difficult to understand.
  • Proactively identifies potential areas for process improvement and recommend feasible solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Market Leaders and HR Leaders including training new users in UKG Pro.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Functions:

  • Collaboration with Payroll team with salary changes in UKG.
  • Assist with audits, and any additional request as needed.
  • Provides training to new care center managers.
  • Assists with special projects.
  • Mentoring of HR Coordinators.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Four or more years related administrative and HR experience
  • Experience with processing electronic onboarding of employees including but not limited to E-Verify
  • Experience with an HRIS system, UKG Pro or ADP strongly preferred
  • Experience with day-to-day processing of 1000 plus employees ‘data in the HRIS system
  • Knowledge of HR Laws
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to meet department objectives
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Experience effectively planning and organizing work
  • Ability to easily adapt to any situation; dynamic personality with the ability to adjust affectively to constantly changing policies and procedures
  • Must be detailed-oriented with technical aptitude
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
