We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and light commercial HVAC installations, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship. - Lead and oversee residential and commercial HVAC system installations, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
- Manage installation crews on job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
- Read blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to ensure accurate system setup and installation.
- Verify proper electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and system performance upon completion.
- Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation progress, system operation, and maintenance recommendations.
- Accurately complete installation paperwork, equipment documentation, and job notes.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 3+ years of HVAC installation experience highly preferred.
- Previous lead installer or crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and duct design.
- EPA certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make field adjustments during installations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
