Full-time | Lake Wales, FL | HVAC Lead Installer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and light commercial HVAC installations, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship. If you take pride in leading projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring every installation is done right the first time, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee residential and commercial HVAC system installations, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
  • Manage installation crews on job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
  • Read blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to ensure accurate system setup and installation.
  • Verify proper electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and system performance upon completion.
  • Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation progress, system operation, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Accurately complete installation paperwork, equipment documentation, and job notes.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
  • Adhere to all company safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of HVAC installation experience highly preferred.
  • Previous lead installer or crew leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and duct design.
  • EPA certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make field adjustments during installations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
