Air Handlers HeatingCooling is a locally owned, family-run company that's been trusted in the Hampton Roads area for over 30 years. We're hiring a Lead HVAC Installer who is ready to step up, supervise other installers, and grow with a stable company that values your expertise.

What You'll Earn

• $33.00 - $39.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Overtime and occasional evenings on a rotational basis)

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise residential and light commercial HVAC installations from start to finish
• Install heating and air conditioning systems to the highest company standards
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every job
• Mentor and guide other installers, ensuring high quality and timely completion
• Read wiring diagrams, perform air balancing, and handle sheet metal work
• Take ownership of jobs while working as part of a supportive team

What You Need

• 3+ years of verifiable residential HVAC installation experience
• Previous lead or supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with no DUI or reckless driving in the past 5 years
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Universal EPA Certification
• Strong customer service skills and willingness to take on leadership roles
• Ability to acquire low voltage license within 2 years and NATE certifications within 1 year

Nice-to-Haves

• Certificate from an HVAC Technical School
• Own set of tools

• Knowledge of troubleshooting
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliable attendance
