About Us

Air Concepts Air Conditioning & Heating is a growing residential HVAC company serving Orange County. We specialize in high-efficiency HVAC systems, heat pumps, and Mitsubishi ductless systems.

We are currently booked out weeks in advance and expanding to support multiple install crews. We are looking for a strong leader to help drive production, maintain quality, and build a solid team.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Lead HVAC Installer / Install Manager who can both lead crews and perform installations when needed.

This is a hands-on field leadership role — you will oversee 2–3 HVAC install crews, keep jobs moving, ensure quality, and step in to complete installs when necessary.

This is NOT a desk position. This role is for someone who leads from the field and takes ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support 2–3 HVAC install crews daily
• Ensure HVAC installations are completed on time and to company standards
• Move between job sites to:
• Solve problems
• Support installers
• Maintain quality and efficiency
• Perform full HVAC system installations when needed:
• Split systems
• Heat pumps
• Ductwork modifications
• Mini-split / ductless systems
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Communicate with office staff, sales team, and customers
• Troubleshoot field issues and keep jobs moving

Team Building & Hiring

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring HVAC installers and helpers
• Build and maintain strong install crews
• Train and onboard new team members
• Develop installers to improve skill, speed, and quality
• Hold team accountable to company standards

Requirements

• 5+ years HVAC installation experience
• Experience as a Lead Installer, HVAC Supervisor, or Install Manager preferred
• Ability to run a full HVAC installation independently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with:
• Residential HVAC systems
• Heat pumps
• Ductwork
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred (Highly Valued)

• Experience with Mitsubishi ductless / mini-split systems
• Experience with high-efficiency or inverter-driven systems
• Experience leading multiple crews

Compensation & Benefits

• $40–$50/hour (based on experience)
• Performance-based bonuses (monthly + per job)
• Top performers earning $100K–$130K+ annually

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
