Lead HVAC / Oil Burner Technician – Commercial & Residential

We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC and Oil Burner Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be capable of running a crew, completing installations independently, and maintaining a high level of workmanship and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise installation crews.

Remove and install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

Install and replace oil-fired boilers and related heating equipment.

Install central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.

Perform light commercial HVAC work, including rooftop units.

Communicate effectively with customers and office staff.

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications.

Train and mentor helpers and junior technicians.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience.

Strong experience with oil burner and boiler replacements.

Experience with central AC, heat pumps, and mini-split systems.

Commercial HVAC experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage a crew.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift equipment and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

EPA Certification preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting pay of $45.00 per hour (based on experience).

Overtime available, especially during the heating season.
