Lead HVAC & Plumbing Technician (5+ Years Exp Required)

WE ARE NOT TRAINING. This is an immediate-hire position for a high-level Independent Contractor (1099). If you cannot perform a plumbing rough-in or diagnose an AC system independently on Day 1, do not apply.

Compensation & Resources

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (Paid via 1099; Contractor responsible for self-employment taxes).
• Company Vehicle: Provided for use during working hours.
• Full Tool Kit: We provide heavy machinery and all necessary hand tools. You are not required to bring your own gear.
• Insurance Support: We will assist the right candidate with the initial General Liability (GL) setup and registration.

Schedule & Hours

• Weekly Hours: 35–45+ hours.
• Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend hours during peak seasons.

Core Responsibilities

• Plumbing Proficiency: Execute rough-ins, top-outs, and finals/trim for residential and commercial systems.
• HVAC Mastery: Install, maintain, and repair AC units and boilers with zero supervision.
• Diagnostics: Use multimeters and gauges to identify electrical and mechanical faults accurately the first time.
• Accountability: Maintain meticulous service records and keep the provided company vehicle and tool kit in professional condition.

Strict Requirements

• Immediate Proficiency: 5+ years of verifiable experience in both HVAC and plumbing.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR is mandatory. EPA 608 Certification is a major bonus.
• Screening: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Physicality: Consistently lift 50+ lbs and work in attics and crawlspaces.
